Overview
Eleven-year-old Annabelle and her twelve-year-old brother Arnie are best friends . . . until their parents decide to separate and it threatens to change their relationship forever. Annabelle and her dad have always had a lot in common — their love of crafting, from boat building to canning foods — while Arnie and his mom share a special bond over birding as well as a love of jogging. When the two siblings have to choose which parent to stay with, both their choices seem obvious. Annabelle stays on the family farm with Dad, while Arnie and Mom move to a city apartment near the hospital where Mom works.
