Through playful rhyme and vibrant illustrations, children are encouraged to think about career and community roles. The MVP Kids are pictured meeting and imitating a variety of workers including blue collar, white collar, government, and preservation careers with an emphasis on how they help the community thrive. The story shifts with, “It’s fun to imagine what I’ll be when I’m grown up someday, but I’m part of my community now, and I can help today!” Then, the MVP Kids discover that they can make a difference in their community now, filling some of the same helping roles in their own way as children.
