Overview
This title introduces readers to Clay Matthews, the National Football League’s Super Bowl-winning outside linebacker. Matthews’s life story is examined from his childhood in California, to his years at the University of Southern California, where went from a non-scholarship walk-on to become a first-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2009 NFL Draft. Matthews’s years with the Packers are examined, including his Super Bowl victory against the Pittsburg Steelers. Aligned to Common Core standards and correlated to state standards.
