Mo Willems

Mo Willems began his writing and illustrating career working for Sesame Street in 1993.  After a decade of Sesame Street he began work on other TV shows such as, “Codename: Kids Next Door” and “The Off Beats”.  He ultimately left the TV industry to focus on his writing career.  Mo Willems has written many delightful children’s books.  Three of his books have been awarded a Caldecott Honor award.  Willem’s more popular series include the Pigeon books, Elephant and Piggie, and Cat the Cat.
